Carina began dancing at 13 with Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Gymnastics. Her Professional Ballroom and Latin dance career began in 1993. She has studied, taught and successfully competed in all Ballroom styles, most notably American Rhythm, acquiring seven 1st place titles. Her training background includes numerous nationally and internationally recognized coaches including Ron Montez, Ray Rivers, Melanie La Patin, Tony Meredith, Peter Eggleton, Kerry Wilson, Jean-Marc Genereux, France Mousseau, Jim and Jenell Maranto, Mark & Viola Weiss, Louis Van Amstel, Claudio & Veronica Rubio, Maria Hansen and others. Always seeking improvement, knowledge and experience, Carina continues to train in various dance styles including Ballroom, Salsa, Tango, Jazz, Tap, African, Pilates, Hip Hop, etc.
